Your Comfort and Safety

At Carstensen Dental office, we know how important it is to be comfortable during your visit with us. Our dental lounge is fully air-conditioned and refreshments are available. We offer you a pillow, blanket or CD players to make your visit a more comfortable experience. If at anytime you feel uncomfortable, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accomodate your needs.

If you require wheel chair access or other special accommodations, please call us before your appointment so we can make any necessary access adjustments to be sure your visit is as comfortable as possible.

Inhalation Sedation
We offer a mixture of nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") and oxygen that is inhaled through a face mask. The nitrous oxide reduces anxiety but does not put you to sleep. After your treatment you can leave your appointment without needing someone to accompany you home.
